Thank you for visiting. I named my website goldeneggyoga because of what it represents in yoga meditation. One of my favorite things to do is to give a yoga nidra workshop. (Yoga nidra means "yoga sleep.") It is a very deep, personal meditation practice that allows a student to go deeper than usual in order to touch the true inner place in themselves. A golden egg, most often residing in a golden flame, represents this deeper, inner place.

I'm always asking my students to look within to find their own, true inner self. I ask that they listen for their inner voice to help lead them to a decision or just help them along their journey of life. Your inner voice will never lead you to a decision that you will regret later. Listening to your heart, following the path that leads you to more joy in your life – that is the challenge that we face each day. When we allow our inner voice to be heard – over the voice in our mind – that is when we become connected to spirit. That inner voice, that piece of us that is always perfect, connected, and is true love is the golden egg that we strive to live by every day.

So I decided to name my website goldeneggyoga, because of what it means to me. It is a place that I mindfully strive for each day and, when allowed, bring my students to understand and touch in their lives.
